The success of any camp is in part due to the quality of its staff, and Below the Rim Basketball Camp takes great pride in assembling one of the most experienced and well-rounded coaching teams.
Our staff is led by experienced head coaches & assistant coaches who oversee daily activities, starting with stretching through to game play. Many of our coaches are professional educators with strong backgrounds in youth development. In addition to their basketball knowledge, they bring the interpersonal skills needed to connect with campers, communicate effectively, and create a positive, encouraging learning environment.
Each summer, our coaching roster includes high school & college coaches and current/former college players. This mix of experience allows campers to learn different perspectives of the game while being exposed to multiple levels of basketball instruction.
We also incorporate a group of Counselors-in-Training, who serve as junior staff members and on-court “referees” during games and drills. Many of our CITs were campers themselves!
